Senior HRIS Specialist - Temp (1-3+ Months)

MUST be located in MN to be considered, out of state will NOT be considered.

Position Details:

  • Location: Eden Prairie, MN (flexibility to be remote in MN, hybrid or on-site).
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8 AM-5 PM (Flexible)
  • Duration: Temporary (1-3+ months)
  • Compensation: $50 - $70/HR (with flexibility to go higher, based on experience)

Summary:

We're looking for a Senior HRIS Consultant to provide high-level system expertise and support for HR operations. In this role, you'll collaborate with HR, Payroll, Talent Acquisition, and Benefits teams to optimize HR technology, manage integrations, and ensure seamless system functionality. The ideal candidate has extensive UKG/UltiPro/UKG Pro experience and a strong background in HR data management and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the HRIS subject matter expert, assisting with troubleshooting, data integrity, and process optimization.
  • Oversee system updates, patches, and testing to maintain compliance and efficiency.
  • Design and implement system integrations that improve automation and user experience.
  • Partner with HR leadership and IT to align HR technology solutions with business needs.
  • Develop custom reports, dashboards, and analytics to support HR strategy and decision-making.
  • Identify and implement best practices for system and process improvements.
  • Create and maintain system documentation, user guides, and training materials.
  • Act as the primary liaison with UKG, ensuring issue resolution and continuous system enhancements.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience supporting HR functions.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with HRIS/HCM systems, with UKG/UltiPro/UKG Pro expertise.
  • Strong knowledge of HR processes, including Payroll, Benefits, and Compensation.
  • Experience troubleshooting system issues, optimizing workflows, and managing integrations.
  • Advanced skills in SQL, database management, and data security.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Experience with HR data reporting, compliance, and system administration.
  • Familiarity with programming and complex report creation.
